E’ arrivata la piccola Mariasole, la mia prima nipotina, e ha davvero portato il sole, non solo in queste giornate finalmente calde e luminose, ma in tutti noi che la aspettavamo guardando la pancia della sua mamma Carlotta crescere.
Avevo in programma di preparare dei semplici muffins per la colazione, ma data la notizia del giorno, in quattro e quattr’otto sono stati decorati per l’occasione. Certo, non sono perfetti ma, dato il momento, apprezzate la buona volontà !
E poi ci chiamiamo “verdure e dintorni”, non “dolci e dintorni”…. 😉
I became a grandmother!
Mariasole, my first granddaughter, has arrived, and she really brought the sun (Sole in italian), not only in these days, finally warm and bright, but in all of us who were expecting her, looking at her mum Carlotta’s belly grow.
I was planning to prepare simple muffins for breakfast, but given the news of the day, in a jiffy they were decorated for the occasion. Of course, they are not perfect but, considering the moment, please appreciate the good will!
And moreover our name is “vegetables and surroundings”, not “sweets and surroundings” …. 😉
