Oltre al classico Sant’Ambrogio – festa per i milanesi, ma conosciuta in tutta Italia – in questa giornata noi abbiamo altre cose da festeggiare.
Francesca festeggia il suo anniversario di nozze, io festeggi(av)o il compleanno del mio amatissimo papino, ed entrambe facciamo gli auguri di compleanno ad un altro nostro compagno di classe, Gianmaria.
Quest’anno io sono ancora una volta in Messico, e per l’occasione ho fatto preparare una torta di carote da Traci, una ragazza americana che vive anche lei qui a Tulum.
Che dire se non ottima ?? Mi spiace che Francesca non abbia potuto assaggiarla, ma giuro che mentre la mangiavo l’ho pensata molto !
December 7, how many anniversaries …
In addition to the classic Sant’Ambrogio – celebration for the citizens of Milano, but known throughout Italy – in this day we have other things to celebrate.
Francesca celebrates her wedding anniversary, I celebrate(d) the birthday of my beloved daddy, and we both wish Happy Birthday to another of our classmates, Gianmaria.
This year I am once again in Mexico, and for the occasion I had a carrot cake prepared by Traci, an American girl who also lives here in Tulum.
What about if not great ?? I’m sorry that Francesca could not taste it, but I swear that while I ate it I thought a lot to her!
